Humble ISD Coaches Present the Annual “Pigskin” Review for the Coming Year Wednesday

Graduate from Clements HS in SugarLand in 1994, played football, baseball, track

Graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in 1999, played defensive end

After one year as an assistant coach at HSU, started my career in high school as an assistant football and track coach at Kingwood HS under Ken Herring and then Dougald McDougald for one year from 1999-2003,coached 3 playoff teams.Coached pole vault in track, having 3 state qualifiers which included the 1^st Girl pole vaulters at Kingwood with one being a 3-time regional champion.

Went to Clements High School as the Offensive Coordinator under Jeff Hulme from 2004-2007, coached 3 playoff teams which included the best record in school history at 13-1 in 2007.

Moved to Mansfield High School as the Offensive Coordinator under the same coach from 2008-2011.In 2008, we won the first two playoff games in school history (dating back to 1940) and then in 2011 earned the best record in school history at 11-2.

Came back to Kingwood as the Head Coach in 2012,starting4^th year with one playoff appearance.

 

From Port Arthur, Texas, has been coaching for 26 years.

Graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, he was honored as a Parade, Adidas, THSCA,and Bally All-American.

Coach Stump played quarterback and punter at Texas A&M University.During this time, Texas A&M won three conference championships and played in three Cotton Bowls.

Coach Stump graduated from Texas A&m and earned a Masters degree from Tulane University.

16 seasons in college coaching at Tulane, Texas State, and Mississippi State Universities, coaching in three bowl games.

He is entering his fourth season at Atascocita High School with a record of 24-9, overall High School record of 96-32.

Starting 7^th year at Summer Creek after opening the school in 2009. In that time they have claimed 3 district championships in 5 varsity seasons.

Before Summer Creek, Coach Ford spent 19 years in Galena Park ISD mostly at North Shore High School.

He is married to Lori Ford and Has one daughter Jessica.
