The Rotary Club of Lake Houston Area invites you to have fun and to help Rotary raise money for local charities that improve people’s lives.
 
Rotary is seeking sponsors and golfers to participate in Lake Houston Rotary's Cinco de Mayo Golf Tournament. Save the date! The tournament is, of course, on Cinco de Mayo (Thursday, May 5, 2022). Registration is at 7 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8 a.m.
 
The tournament will be held at the Tour 18 Golf Course, 3102 FM 1960 East in Humble, TX. If you’ve never played this course, just imagine playing on carefully reproduced holes from some of the greatest golf courses in America. You’ll find this collection of incredible replicas will offer you a memorable experience of following in the footsteps of some of the greatest legends in golf.  Learn more about the course here: https://www.tour18golf.com
 
While you’re having fun on the course you’ll be helping the following organizations (partial list) too: Family Time, Including Kids, Society of St. Stephen, Oaks of Righteousness, Family Promise, Re:Mind, Humble Area Assistance Ministries Mission Northeast (HAAM), Holocaust Remembrance Association, WINGS Ministry, Boots for Troops, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Community Response Task Force, Village Learning Center, Lake Houston Family YMCA, Rotary Rose Group, Humble ISD student scholarships and HISD FFA.  These organizations and others all received grants from Lake Houston Rotary during of 2021-22 fiscal year.
 
Player fees are: Single player $125 (we’ll match you with a group); and Foursome team $500. Breakfast, lunch and golf cart is included. Trophies for First, second and third place will be awarded.
 
Plus, they’ll have some fun side activities including a $10,000 Hole-in-One and $5,000 Putting Contests, a raffle for prizes including a wagon filled with assorted “liquid refreshments”, a virtual auction and more.
 
Sponsorships still available range in price from $100 to $3,500. The $7,500 premiere title sponsorship has already been taken by Plains State Bank. Sponsorships are available on a first come basis. Please don’t delay as there is a sponsorship level for every budget.
 
Golfers will also have an opportunity to personally examine the prize for Rotary’s next fundraiser, a raffle to win a low mileage, mint condition 2015 Corvette Z06 Convertible with a 3LZ performance package. Raffle tickets will be available at the tournament and are $100 each and include a chance to win one of ten $250 Visa gift cards and every raffle ticket purchase includes a round of golf for four (Monday-Thursday) at the Atascocita Golf Club (cart not included). Raffle tickets may be purchased from a club member or online at www.LHARotaryRaffle.com .

The Rotary Club of Lake Houston Area members and guests meet at 11:45 a.m. Wednesdays for their weekly lunch meeting at the Lake Houston Family YMCA, 2420 West Lake Houston Pkwy. in Kingwood.

The Summer Creek Satellite Club meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at 8:30 a.m., at Generation Park 3rd floor Nimble Office Suite, 250 Assay St., Houston.
