Lake Houston Rotarians volunteered on Wednesday, Dec. 15th to help Humble Area Assistance Ministries (H.A.A.M.) distribute food, toys, clothes, games, and bicycles for Christmas and the holidays to needy families identified by the Humble Independent School District. The distribution event was held at Light of the World Christian Fellowship Church in Humble.
Rotarians and other volunteers helped pre-selected families load food supplies and children’s gifts into their cars at distribution stations located around the church parking lot.
The distribution stations were reloaded with more supplies by volunteers from storage areas inside the church. Hundreds of local area families were expected to be helped by H.A.A.M.’s outreach ministry.
