Money raised from this raffle will help the non-profit Lake Houston Rotary Foundation to support local charities including Humble ISD student scholarships. Last year grants were provided to Family Time Crisis & Counseling Center, Inspire ND, Hopeful Hearts Ministry, Humble ISD Education Foundation, Society of Saint Stephen, Oaks of Righteousness, Family Promise of Lake Houston, re:Mind Depression and Bipolar Support, Humble Area Assistance Ministries (HAAM), Mission Northeast, Wings Ministries, Boots for Troops, Sleep In Heavenly Peace, The Village Centers, Lake Houston Family YMCA, Community Response Task Force, Rotary Rose Group, Junior Rotarian Program, and Rotary Youth Exchange Program to name a few. Charitable grants are made by the Lake Houston Rotary Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit. 100% of the net proceeds are distributed to non-profits. Rotary Club members are all volunteers and club operations are funded by member dues.
 
Rotary Club of Lake Houston Area members and guests meet at 11:45 a.m. most Wednesdays for their weekly lunch meeting at the Lake Houston Family YMCA, 2420 West Lake Houston Pkwy. in Kingwood. Visitors wishing to learn more about Rotary are welcome.

The Summer Creek Satellite Rotary Club meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at 8:30 a.m., at Generation Park 3rd floor Nimble Office Suite, 250 Assay St., Houston.
